About me
I am a longtime Montgomery County resident, having lived in Cabin John and Rockville for almost 20 years. I was born and raised in France and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 2015, bringing an international perspective shaped by both French and American systems.
I am also a parent of a child educated in Montgomery County Public Schools, including special education services. That experience gave me firsthand insight into navigating the system and advocating for students with diverse learning needs. It’s a big part of why I care about strong, accountable public education. My child now attends the University of Maryland.
Professionally, I bring experience from both public service and the private sector.
I served as a Commissioner on the Montgomery County Commission for Women, where I worked on policy issues and supported legislation before the Maryland General Assembly and County Council. I also served on the board of the Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women. My volunteer work was recognized with the President’s Volunteer Service Award (2021).
In the private sector, I worked as a Tax Manager for a technology company, focusing on corporate tax compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory oversight.
Earlier in my career, I worked at the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, and as a student attorney representing low-income taxpayers before the IRS, helping secure tax relief for underserved individuals.
I also have experience supporting complex investigations at major law firms, including work related to antitrust, healthcare, and anti-corruption matters.
I am fluent in French and English, with working proficiency in Spanish.
